What else does the code apply to? Is it fluoro specific?

Not a fan of this line. Tried it in a previous deal and it doesn't hold up against other lines. Breakage and memory has been an issue.

I bought this for leader line. I use braid as main. Hopefully it does ok. Mostly going on a UL spinning rig for trout.

I've used this stuff as leader before. 12 lb on 10 lb braid (spiderwire). Had a few instances where the flouro simply snapped off at the knot with the braid.

I wouldn't recommend it. Went back with trilene mono for leader.

Just a FYI - line will turn yellow after a few years on the shelf. I used it as leader material and purchased about 5yrs ago.

you gotta ask yourself if saving 6 dollars on some mediocre line is worth all the fish you'll lose from the line snapping at the knot or getting cut from rocks/weeds because reviews all say it is not very durable. Trilene xl mono is cheaper than this at walmart right now and is leagues better in strength and durability. just using the trilene as an example as there are plenty of other higher quality lines around the same price than this kastking line

When using a lead, it's recommended to use a slightly smaller size than the braid. The size of the line you should use depends on your configuration, including the reel, rod, and lure size. In general, the larger the lure you use, the bigger the line diameter should be. If you're planning to fish during the cold season, it's best to downsize your line as much as possible. During this time, fish tend to be cold and hunker down, preferring to save their energy instead of chasing after a large bait.

Probably the worst fishing line I've ever fished with.
