They only have 1 in the chicago store. I got this for $400 at the beginning of December and thought that was a good deal. Still almost $700 on amazon.

I have an older model Thrustmaster wheel so I'm not a detractor, but isn't this creeping into direct drive pricing at $700? How does this compare to the budget Fanatec models that cost that much? Anyone know?

I like this deal at this price, but I don't understand how they ever sell a belt drive wheel for $700.

This base apparently hits 6.4nm of force. I own the tx base which apparently only does 3.9nm. It's an upgrade over the tx. But it's not direct drive like the fanatecs or moza wheels. This claims 6.4nm that I'm seeing on reddit but it's no where on their site. Fanatec csl dd standard and moza r5 only claim 5nm. But I guess the big selling point is xbox compatible. Moza doesn't do that and fanatec needs a xbox certified wheel which would add another 250+.
