Seems like a decent deal, if you're on the Ryobi system, and can use more batteries. I got a 2, 4, 6 ah batteries with a free tool (chose a cordless brushless 18ga nailer) for $199. It was during Home Depot's Ryobi days. That program seems to run half the year. If you can wait, wait for their Ryobi days sales. I'm guessing it starts up in the spring, or near summer.

Do you have to charge these batteries with the supplied charger. Or will the regular green charger work that comes the non performance battery.

regular chargers work fine to charge the high performance batteries, I have many 4aH (HP and non-HP) and use them interchangeably.

That said, this looks like a good charger. I don't have one.
