    • RTINGS' comparison of these 2 models:
      • "The Samsung QN90C/QN90CD QLED is better than the Samsung QN85C QLED, but not by as much as you'd think. The QN90C gets much brighter than the QN85C in both SDR and HDR, but in practice, this isn't always noticeable, as most content just isn't mastered to take advantage of such high brightness levels. The QN90C's Automatic Brightness Limiter (ABL) also more aggressively dims the scene when it gets extremely bright, to a point where the two TVs are equally as bright in the brightest of scenes. The QN90C has better color volume and reflection handling than the QN85C."

They probably see more Samsung than anything else due to Samsung owning 34% of the market share in the US. LG with 19% and Vizio at 11%. Those are the big 3.

I checked with a non EPP Samsung account the 75" was $1799 instead of $1439 so you definitely need an EPP discount to activate the offer.

I updated my post. The advertised price didn't pop up on my non Samsung EPP discount. It looks like you definitely need Samsung EPP for this deal.

Here's some backstory on the QN95C that I gathered from various forums like AVS etc. The QN95C series was limited to special installs from dealers or integrators. Most stores outside of QVC, Value Electronics, and Wal-Mart don't sell the QN95C. I only have it due to a warranty swap for my defective QN90B. The QN95C finally became available on Samsung's website, but it sells out rather quickly.

I absolutely love my QN95C 85". The picture is punchy and bright. The 144Hz native refresh is amazing for PC gameplay. Each port supports 144Hz HDMI 2.1 specifications so you don't have to run your consoles through an AVR etc. The local dimming is fantastic with over 2,200 dimming zones. Lastly, a lot of people are speculating that the QN95D will be go through same route. I believe the discounted price is $4399 with Samsung's EPP discount.

Samsung's website is really flaky. I logged into my Samsung account. Then, went back to SD and clicked on the link for the 65" QN85C TV and the price showed $1,299. Then I looked at my account and I was NOT logged in. I clicked on the login, and it logged me in, and I now can see the prices. Keep playing around with being logged in, I feel that is the issue with Samsung's website.

I have been noticing Samsung's website doing this for the past 6 months now.

Do you remember when and how much that was last year? If the new "C" model came out, then the "B" model would go down in price, that might be why it was so cheap. All I know, if I could by a TV now, 85" 90C would be bought! I'm waiting to see if my old TV is repairable. I'm hoping it's not, lol.

And I do not believe in waiting. I set a price I can afford and when it gets there, I buy it.

I think it was around February or March last year. After the Super Bowl though. Hard for me to pull the trigger at $2k when there is potential it may drop to $1500. Good luck with your tv
