There is no 8K content in sight yet?

I thought OLEDs were generally better than QLED but an OLED 65" is less than this. This must have some advanced tech?

Am I missing something? The price is coming up at $4,997.99 for Amazon Seller and Amazon shipping.

You need to go to Video & Audio Center and SKG USA as sellers to get the price down to $3,000, with Prime. You might want to add that to your description.

I'm with you, at this pricing, I would get the Samsung 65" S90C 4K OLED at $1,700 [amazon.com] before even thinking about an 8K.

Extremely useless tv set when you can get the QN95c 4k version of this effectively for half this price on a deal. Paying double for 8k over 4k especially in a small screen size of only 65" makes no sense whatsoever with effectively no content available and on top of that you would have to sit within feet of a 65" tv to notice the difference in 4k and 8k.

8k will only make any sense many years from now and on VERY large screen sizes.

May be a good deal, but no point in buying a 8k tv. Just don't. There is no content and will be not be for a while. Instead get the q90 QLED or a Sony or LG OLED. .

OLED is a better choice except in these conditions
1. You watch news or cable tv for several hours that have static logo (think CNN, Fox etc). They can cause burn in.
2. If you are a gamer. You know what I am talking about.
3. You have a very bright room like living room with tons of windows.

Samsung and other manufacturers have created so many marketing buzzwords to describe its screen technology, its impossible for me to keep up now. Life was simple when LCD screens were introduced - there were only two screen types. Then came LED, OLED, QLED, Mini QLED, Micro QLED.. and now Neo QLED (which I have no idea what it means). Does anyone have a good primer they can point to on how these screen technology differs, and what considerations one should make to go about choosing one?

I am unsure about this comment. OLED is great, but it does have its drawbacks such as burn-ins. QD-LED is supposed to be a better technology now (atleast in theory), but the price points are much higher than those of OLED.
