I feel like the superbowl tv sales is a myth, the only good time for TV deals besides late november is early-mid summer when the new models drop and clearances happen.

Its anecdotal. But there does seem to be some sharp deals around Super Bowl. There are always great open box deals right after the game and that is no coincidence. People have the big SB party qwith the new TV and then box it up or not and return it.

Beware the Buydig OLED refurbs. These are customer returns and not factory refurbished. I purchased one and it was damaged in shipping. Where the screen gets very thin at the top, it was bent backwards and the TV did not power on. It took two weeks and I had to send pictures of the damage three different times in order to get an RMA and my money back. They did not have me ship the TV back, it was my responsibility to properly dispose of it. I had to take it to a recycling center, one hour round trip, and pay $15 for a TV recycling fee that I was not reimbursed for. NEVER AGAIN!

I picked this up around BF time for 899.99 at woot. Was refurbished and said it didn't come with stand also, but did. TV looked brand new to me and has been great so far. For sub-800 and with 2 ur warranty. This is a pretty solid deal IMO
