They do it's what I have used in the past. Pulled a lot of female long hair out of drain.

Edited to say: yes it pulls out the long ass hair and pubes of men as well. Please excuse me for not including that originally.

Would it be able to pull male long hair out of the drain?

Having used this, I can say the rotating handle is somewhat of a gimmick and the weakest point of the unit.

Amazon has 100 packs of these with fixed handles for $10.

These work so well! I use them in tub drain, shower drain, and sink drains. Note that it's helpful to remove the drain guard or stopper before using this product. But it works sooooo well! And you can avoid chemicals.

DON'TBUY IT!. It works but It's a ONE TIME use as it is very difficult to remove all the gunk that's stuck at the head. Why do you think it comes with replacement head or refill wand? Buy the one that Slickone recommended from the dollar store. That design can be used hundreds of times as it is very easy to clean up and reuse.

These work really well and it is much better than the one listed for Home Depot. Wife and daughter has long hair and often clogged the bathtub even with a hair catcher at the drain. I stick it down the drain, rotate it a few times, and it will get the hair that's clogging the drain. Remove hair from the stick, rinse stick, and it can be use again next time.

He wouldn't know. He only stores female heads in his tub.
