I have this set and it has been as low as $39 in the past. If you can, you should wait until it gets back to that price.

Specifically this set with the extra little case? I didn't think this packout + bits deal had dropped below $50 yet even by itself..

What is with the "waiting" comments…? 😅 This is $4 less than blackfriday/FP deal, what are y'all "waiting" for?!? And no... This package has never been "$39"

Too much redundancy for basic homeowner kit IMO. Save your money. A simpler kit like this [homedepot.com] or this [homedepot.com] gets most bits you would require for basic household fasteners.

More than half the cost of this kit is eaten up by the Packout storage box [homedepot.com]. If you are not already in the Packout tool storage system, that won't provide much benefit to you over the standard storage cases that most bit kits come packaged in.

Sorry your right. I missed the smaller 15pc case. but the packout kit has been $40 multiple times last year. here is one example. https://slickdeals.net/f/16543126-milwaukee-100pc-shockwave-packout-kit-48-32-4082-from-milwaukee-39-99

Not worth the money. The Makita XPS are so much better and they have labeling in the carrying case.

I've been analyzing the price of tools and toolsets and Milwaukee is just consistently overpriced. They are a cool brand and I love the marketing of their packout system, but it's anything but a "slickdeal" paying double the cost for products because they're part of an exclusive system, even if the system is a good one. Also keep in mind that this is supposed to be a "sale price". Could you imagine being the sucker who pays retail for this stuff?
