It's not annoying at all. I have over a dozen ratchets here, from Pittsburgh to Snap-On quality, and only a couple cheap ones have quick release. Honestly, it's such a non-deal that I never even think about it.

You should switch to a breaker bar or impact wrench when things get tough so max strength shouldn't really be an issue, but in torture tests I've seen of multiple ratchets, the failure mode of those with quick release seem to always be the anvil snapping.

Probably more to do with when they noticed their error. Some moron said they called them about the price mistake. After that lots of cancellations. Some orders had already shipped.

Clearly it was a pricing error. It appears they priced it at the MSRP of the free screwdriver set that came with it instead of the socket set price. Plus they still shipped a lot of orders. I got mine.

Zoro is an amazing company. It was a pricing error, and they honored a high percentage of the orders. I received mine, and so did several people.

This has been open for me all weekend and has been $125 for weeks.

Normal price before this was $134. Not really that slick but decent.
