Thanks OP, seems like a good price.

Found this reddit thread regarding the 302. Seems like a good product regardless but FWIW.

I'm an electrician and have a hard time justifying buying a fluke for 3x the price of some Amazon brand meters that offer many more functions for a lower price. Yes fluke is high quality but I've compared flukes with Astro Ai or KAIWEETS brand Meters and they perform just as well if not better. They also typically have more functions. Dont get me wrong if I was going to do industrial or medical work I'd probably buy the expensive fluke just because. But for general residential & commercial electrical the Amazon meters are great for much less. Also not as big a hit if it gets stolen, lost or broke. I've had the same Klein clamp meter for the last 6 years and it's performed just as well as my buddy's fluke for half the price. Literally zero difference between the two, they have the exact same functions except he paid more for his. Also mine is TRMS while his isn't. This is good deal all things considered for a fluke, though it's not TRMS

That's because work you do don't require calibrating certification.
When you work in critical fields, your tools need to be certified and calibrated, every year. Thats where you will find fluke is used almost everywhere (good luck finding someone calibrate and certify none fluke multimeter)

But if you aren't making money out of your certified tools, then don't bother with fluke

I have a Kaiweets TRMS 6000 and it is a great and really fuilly-featured option.

I think the Flukes are good for when you're really hard on your tools or work in an especially high-duswt or shock or vibration prone environment, but you definitely get better features for your money from Kaiweets.
