Have one from previous deal. Not impressed with the quality. It never gave me a perfect shave . Not sure if there are any tips or tricks to get this work better

Are there any electric ones that do? Afaik you can only get a perfect shave with a manual razor.

Got mine today. I got model 5118s which has a turbo mode. This is a different model from what I saw on Walgreen's website. Also it did not come with a storage case.

guys guys guys!!!

it's wet dry shaver, both 3 and 5 series

wet shave is gonna get you the results you want, heck put a little soap or lotion on it for extra smooth and skin protect

in the shower AFTER your skin and beard are softenened!!!!

Tried on the last deal for pick up. Also used a coupon they give as cash. on the account. They took the cash coupon and canceled my pick up order.

Why'd you not pick up? Probably a different but comparable shaver.
Oh they had replaced my order with a less version one that was worth around 30 bucks.

Is it a deal if it doesn't actually exist anywhere? 🤔

Very true. Guess the time and energy involved is a crap shoot.

Wondering if it's gonna be a good shave? Seeing mixed reviews? Consider this: it's been marked down to clearance pricing by a company that exists (like all) to ✨make money✨. Companies don't put big markdowns on things that sell well at higher prices, they try to make their investment back selling it cheap to people who shrug at the low price and think they're "rolling the dice", when in fact the house always wins.

Never had one like this, I tried it right away on my short beard and it doesn't even feel like it trimmed anything. I was excited, but now I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong

Companies often discount end-of-production, discontinued models ETC. Closeout/clearance items often feature BIG markdowns, regardless of how well they sell.

The "house" does NOT always win...sometimes they just need to clear out stock to make space (hence the term "clearance") and often it's to cut losses.

ordered, 5 minutes later got an out of stock email
had the same thing happen to me from the previous post. There was 1 in stock, ordered it and later received an email saying it was out of stock. Their system seems to be fairly quick on updating inventory, and I really doubt at the same time I placed my order a slickdeal user went to the store and got it in person.

Probably will get downvoted, but I got a nice Merkur DE Safety Razor several years ago, haven't touched my electric razor ever since— replacement blades are pennies, little-no maintenance, and a much cleaner shave.

Shows as in stock for shipping for me but won't add.
Reviews also seem quite mixed
by far the biggest complaint is cancelled orders or never received, complaints about how it works are few.

My store didn't have this stock. But they substituted for Phillips Norelco 3500 Shaver: https://www.walgreens.com/store/c...06-product

How does this compare to Braun?
