Its aimed at business accounts - but I created one as a sole proprietor even though I dont technically have a business - unless ebay seller counts

Most people who got the $10 sim do hacks and get a hotspot modem to use it for home internet - I had got that working but I work from home so I like having more stability than a hacked internet connection

I'm not a T-Mobile subscriber and I don't have a tablet that accepts a SIM card. Can I get this deal somehow and then take the sim and use it in my s24 ultra ? Is esim supported too? Do I just go to the store to sign up ?

edit : was able to see the $15 plan online (tax inclusive) with a $5 autopay discount separate (so supposedly $10/month total). people were saying in that thread you linked that I won't get the autopay discount ? I should try asking local store or online rep for $10 plan ?

doesn't T-Mobile detect that the sim is in a s24 ultra, not a tablet and shut down service ?

has anyone found that after 10gb hotspot it really does cut you down to 3g speeds ?

is this data considered prioritized or deprioitized?

does using two sim cards dramatically reduce battery ? i.e. for phone calls id be using us mobile as esim and for data the T-Mobile tablet sim in my s24 ultra. would this work ?

You can add a new line but it will be a new customer and you will get the 24 months discount not the instant credit. You can try the cancel and reorder hack that people have tried but I'd not do that with multiple phones and the offer will be over in a day.

Anyone that ordered the same day they signed up for service and have the "A new Fi member activated the device" on their promo page that had the promo fixed from support care to share what was done and what we should expect from support?

Once you activate the device, go to my plan , under plan details , click on your phone number and you should see the new device with new IMEI. You are all set. Wait for 24hrs to start counter, before you take out sim card and put your existing sim card.

Account does show IMEI and activated on account but still shows the A new Fi member activated the device.

I reached out to the support and only asked "can you check what's going on - I didn't see this issue while ordering" and they put you on hold for 5-10 and open a specialist ticket for you. This specialist team will respond between 24-48 hours. In my case they replied stating I am qualified so they fixed it, I also read them mention "one time exception" for someone on this thread.

Alright so if it helps some here I just got the reply from the escalations team below. I was part of the ordering before the bill was generated crowd.

Yeah the trade in values are so disappointing this year. I missed last year's deal as well (wasn't really active on SD). In anticipation of this year's deal I even bought a $205 iPhone 12 from Boost Mobile B&M hoping that it would be valued at $310 similar to how iPhone 11 had boosted trade-in last year but no dice. I bought the S24+ with no trade in anyway. I guess I will just wait for a bit to see if a deal with a boosted trade-in value for iPhone 12 pop up,; if not, probably either trade it in at Apple for $205 or sell it on eBay/Swappa or give it to my in-law to use after it unlocks in 12 months.

Editing this after a month because it turned out to be false info. CSR was wrong. Apparently, you can't have more than 1 line in one Fi/Google Account. Thus, you can't activate it in the same account without deactivating the first phone.
