I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫔

I e-mailed them Monday at 6pm and got a response the response below at 10am on Tuesday.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for contacting us. I have sent an inquiry to my warehouse management team to see if we can have the device located. Once they contact me with their findings, I will be sure to reach out to you as soon as possible.
And they never e-mailed you after that?

Well the S24+ should sell for more and / or will make for a better trade in phone for future deals (not talking just spectrum). It seems that the crowds think the S24+ is the winner this go round, perfect balance of price and power.
yep, same size, memory as ultra. i really like the plus. now it is harder to decide which one to keep.........

Yeah bruh, I have traded in 100 phones just today bruh. They were all blacklisted IMEIs and covered in dog turds. The Spectrum store I went to thanked me and gave me a shoulder massage for clearing out their entire inventory. I'm so cool and totally being honest, bruh. Even though the trade in rules on the Spectrum trade in site say the trade in device must be paid off just ignore them. Just FUD. Heck I traded in a device I snatched off an old lady in the parking lot, bruh. That's how we roll.
wow.. you do need to get some sunlight man, you're still on this thread trying to sound helpful but actually not and realize you're still at 30 rep?

I did not hear back from them. I e-mailed them earlier today. Honestly, I think we're all SOL, and that's why I contacted all of those agencies. Even Assurant doesn't know what to do with these devices. They can't locate them, their portal doesn't show it as processed yet I received an e-mail stating it's $0. I even got a follow-up e-mail asking me to accept their revised offer again but the portal still doesn't work.

Spectrum doesn't care, blames Assurant nor will they let me return the phone. This is WILD in my opinion. Basically, we have your device, you get $0, but we won't ever tell you why, you're not owed a reason and we're definitely not giving you the $700 even though you have an e-mail stating we'll accept this phone.

Bordering theft I'd say.

Your situation is worse than mine, sounds like a big screwup with the Note 4s. My issue is they did the assessment but revised it to an incorrect lower storage level. The portal website finally updated this evening and just gives an option to accept or decline.

I'm trying to get a sense if it would just be a waste of my time to try and get them to correct it.

I'd e-mail them if you haven't, but honestly, if it were me, I wouldn't spend more than an hour of my time. I get it though, not your fault and they're costing you money.

I went from S24 -> Moto Razr +. I'm hoping to sell Razr+ offline once unlocked. Is it worth that way or should I get a S24?

Went to the first store. They are more than happy to let me trade in S24 to s24+, yet, they found the last two just sold 30 min ago
Went to the 2nd store. They refused to trade in right away, saying it is new policy that they will not allow same model (even if it is s24 to s24+) trade in and won't allow overage.

Thanks. I mostly do not want to give them a chance to screw things up. I do not want to decline the offer but obviously want it corrected. I am not sure if they respond on weekends but maybe I'll give them until Monday.

Is in-store trade-in 100% safe? So far, no one has reported the in-store trade-in of a Walmart Moto being rejected. The representative told me the phone will be sent to Assurant for inspection. He said it would be okay, even though the SIM card was removed. If Assurant inspects the phone again, it won't go through the setup screen.

To anybody who has e-mailed Assurant, what was their response time?
In my case, it was next business day.

Today, I received a Walmart Moto G Play from Assurant. I sent the phone with a SIM card, but they removed it. So, when you press start, it shows "Locked device. Your device is locked by your carrier. Please insert a valid SIM card. Follow the animated instructions to insert your SIM card." It's impossible for them to access the home screen and view the IMEI. I don't know why they removed the SIM; a bunch of idiots. I will take the phone for an in-store deal tomorrow.
I just got mine back from assurant, same thing. I purchased a $1 sim kit from tracphon le from Target, going to see if I will unlock it without a phone plan and if it does, Goin got instore to trade it back in. Let me know how your instore trade in goes.

I traded in the Walmart g play without the sim card online. After read these comments, I don't think it will be accepted. I"ll ask for return and return the phone. Very bad experience šŸ˜•. I may need to eat the restock fee and the moto g play. I'm not sure if Walmart can allow me to return it after 14 days
