Screw Arlo. Don't know what their "end of life" policy is on these things, but definitely tried to end support for Arlo pros despite buying them at a premium back in the day. Won't support them again.

Agreed and the only support they provide for their product was having other owners attempt to answer questions in a forum. Only when enough of the forum yells loud enough do they help. They pushed bad firmware update and tried to make the community help until they all called them on it

Agreed. I had 3 arlo pros and all of sudden they stopped recognizing the battery one day. Won't buy them again

Eufy has had major security issues. Good luck having others watch your family from their cameras in or around your house. Eufy is worse garbage.

My Arlo pro 2s are failing to recognize their batteries now. They're 4 years old and 1/3 is still going. No help from netgear. Even though these are cheap I'm gonna go a different direction

Recently bought these during Christmas. Battery life is horrendous.

Stay away… even at this price. It's better to buying ring/blink/eufy.

Stick to traditional cctv systems if you own your home. No subscriptions. No worrying what happens if the company decides to no longer support your devices or they go out of business.

I can attest. I bought Eufy cameras and homebase because mainly how it records videos - I bought a 4TB SSD and all my wireless camera all save on that drive rather than each camera having its own SD card. And Eufy doesn't even charge a monthly subscription

Yeah I'm with everyone - avoid Arlo. Their camera technology was good when I got my Arlo pro 2 system and it still has better video than my newer Ring cameras but their support is ridiculously bad. And the EOL policy kills any chance they have of getting my business. I keep my old Arlos in the house for quick interior checks and geofencing but there's no way I'd rely on them for real security.

If you have a ring security system, their total plan is good BUT the image quality, app latency, recording delay and many other things are subpar. I'm considering a real CCTV system. If I could go back that's what I would do instead of my Arlo system and ring floodlights and doorbell. But even with this deal, I'd avoid Arlo entirely

Will never purchase their products again. Had an Arlo system and 1 day they just dropped support. No way to get my videos from their website. Be afraid, be very afraid. This company is notorious for dropping entire product lines with a little to no warning.
