Great price, but in my opinion, too "herby". After I doctor it up with other veggies and a little meat it's OK, but then it's just a soup starter, and not a good one since I don't care for the broth. I think their creamy soups are better.

We use these as emergency meal packs and enjoy when we rotate the food out with fresher ones. Used it on multiple occasions where the power went out for a couple of days while we were in the mountains. I normally throw in a can of beans or corn because the soup is a bit salty and they over used the spices and flavorings but it kept the stomach warm and full until the trip was over.
I tried Bear Creeks Cheddar Broccoli soup and there were a lot of hard pieces, Im assuming dried broccoli that stayed hard, so I feel like I don't want to try any other variations.
A good price but not their best soup. I add kidney beans and cooked Italian sausage and a little more cooked pasta. I prefer their tortilla soup but that's never on sale.

Comparing to canned Progresso minestrone soup, this has over 3 cans worth of calories. But compared to Campbell's chunky minestrone (with sausage) it's about 2 cans worth of food calories wise. To put it in perspective of how much food is in each pouch
Has anyone bothered to check out the list of ingredients of this soup? The second, after "pasta" is sodium. The SECOND ingredient by weight is sodium.
No thank you ...
I think that is pretty much any powdered soup. They are often like 50%+ of ones daily sodium. Many other processed foods as well including bullion. Surely not healthy as every day but decent in a pinch or as emergency rations.
I keep these soups around, as others have said "as a soup starter" add twice as much water and extra veggies / meat. Use them like once every other month on a cold day or sick day where a large pot of soup is nice.

It is crazy salty if you don't water it down.
