Check the Rewards section [amctheatres.com] of your AMC Theatres account to see if you have "Mobile Order 50% off Hot Foods Items Winter 2023" in the Rewards Available section.
In the AMC Theatres mobile app you can order ahead for food to see the prices. It seems to only work for the items in the Snacks section. It doesn't seem work for popcorn or combos that include hot food. Once you add the hot food item to the cart in the app it will show the discount price.

I agree. I got excited for this offer because my main AMC is Dine In so a lot food is "hot food".
