This is sold direct from Dyson and includes a 2 year warranty (via ebay/allstate). The same refurb item on dyson's site with only a 6 month warranty is $299. Dyson once quoted me over half this price to replace a coin sized plastic part locking the dust holder. So based on that, this is a bargain I guess.

I did get a refurbished Dyson deal previously. Unfortunately the battery went dead after some time. No complaints there but even after replacing the battery I'm not getting results .

LG 0 has a user replaceable battery so that makes it better

We prefer staying with V8 or older due to compatibility with Rigid batteries. Only Rigid batteries have Lifetime warranty, we were able to get 1 battery replaced by their Lifetime service agreement last year. With that in mind, we began to abuse them Rigid batteries and tools so bad. Our neighbors are welcomed to come over and borrow our tools at anytime 😂
