Klein just rebrands generic Chinese garbage products and sells for a 2-3x markup as somehow or other they are still considered a premium brand...

While it is true that electronics like this radio are made in China, the hand tools are still made in the USA.
And while we are at it....not everything coming out of China is crap.
If you want to argue otherwise, what brand are you suggesting is making their electronics in the USA? Milwaukee? Bosch? Ridgid? Dewalt? What brand are you suggesting is 100% USA-made?
Now to be clear...I would love to see the USA electronics manufacturer...or the Japan electronics manufacturer. But you only see a very limited number of these items coming out of Japan and even less coming out of the USA.
It is my understanding that Milwaukee is coming out with some new products and HD is discontinuing their exclusive agreement with Klein....hence the deals we are seeing.
And while I did appreciate the link to the Klein info....it was dated 2014. I thought this required something a little more recent.
