spectrum is horrible in kansas city. several areas still stuck with 30+ year old coax cable. luckily all the fiber providers are taking over.

With who? AT&T offers 2.5Gb and 5Gb (some areas, but rolling out). Google offers 5Gb (residential) and 20Gb (organization), KC Fiber offers up to 100Gb and still giving out 1Gb free.

But hey, Spectrum offers that blazing fast 300Mb, which a lot of people cant even get above 150 - 180Mb.

Yep. I'm cancelling my card when renewal comes. Paying $300 for a skymiles card that we never use anymore. You can't even use the voucher with points. They should have told you that to begin with.

Is there an easy way to filter for this deal? Scrolling through 100 deals is a PITA!

Don't know what you're talking about. I get 1Gbps just fine on "that old coaxial cable", LOL

That's nice. You dont live in an area that is capped to the "up to 300Mbps" packages.

Edit: These area networks are supposed to be upgraded by the end of 2025. But like I said originally, AT&T and the others are grabbing all those customers up. Not counting Verizon's UWB 1Gb internet for $50/month or T-Mobile's (speed widely varies by location) internet available in these areas.

I was with Spectrum 400Mb for the past 8 years or so. But they uncontrollably upped my monthly bill for the same service every year on top of ACP. I switched to Fiber 500Mb and will never look back.
Now Spectrum is relentlessly bugging me to come back and offer free internet for 2 years! shake head

so sad and pathetic of them. sore losers. i asked them to bring my monthly amount back to what it was in December after they raised it this month. they laughed at me and said no. so i said, transfer me to your cancellation department. they also didnt budge. so i dumped them for RCN at 3 times the speeds. now the desperate losers at spectrum call me trying to give me a free month. just pathetic.

Spectrum service is good. Their customer service is terrible. Unfortunately, their internet service is far superior to AT&T and Frontier. They are the best of a bad lot. I got rid of all their services except the internet.

Been a card holder for a long time. Amex sucks with offers and customer service. Shell of its former self. Another typical woke company

I agree. Very annoying to not find deals. I often don't add deals to my card until i see one i like. Then i add like 70-80 deals and refresh and hope it comes up after refreshing... so you can try that... sometimes it works, but not often
