Guys think like an Einstein: Take your girl out for a free night. She will love it. Plus, you get free popcorn and soda. The amount of hate here on literally a free date night is insane.

Which was also a remake. But yeah
I don't think it's a remake if you're talking about the 1941 movie. Checked the plot and it had absolutely nothing to do with the Pitt-Jolie movie. It just shares a name.

Does anyone know anything about the ratings/content? Is this appropriate to take my teenager with me?

Signup says 18+, but that is probably more about collecting data than the film.

I've not gone to any screenings (or heard of) this system before. But I've done a few others. I assume they DO overbook if they get enough signups, because they know some signups won't show and they'd love a full house.
That said, I've mostly seen "non blockbusters" like this, and they were never even half full.
One time, I won tickets to an early screening of The Two Towers, and that may have been full, and had a long line to get in. Still no one turned away AFAIK, but they may have avoided overbooking for that.

Free is good, but I don't really get the point of going out to a screening that I'll have access to the following night from the comfort of my own home. Maybe if it was a week in advance or longer, for sure.
How do you watch it the next day?

Been to most of these. The TV show premieres have always been the first two episodes. Lasting about the duration of a typical movie altogether.

As for the other question about sold out, the theaters I went to were never full though sold out. At least 2 full rows worth of seats open. So that may depend on your area/traffic/theater. I was let in after starting time once, but it took awhile to get someone to come out and sign me in.

Is this a remake of the Pitt Jolie flick?
No, it's not. They were actually married in the movie BEFORE they found out the others identity.
