Amazon sells you the movie and keeps it there. If it's MA, do you get a 2nd copy on Movies Anywhere (operated by Disney)? Is it either or?
Edit: answered my own question by buying an MA movie. It shows up instantly in MA so you have it in both places, but only after linking MA to your Amazon account.
