What's this about not accepting returns? If it says free returns then there's free returns.
Amazon no longer accepts returns on food goods. It doesn't say with subscribe and save, but if you select one-time purchase in the refunds category it says this - "This item is non-returnable due to potential safety risk associated with this ingestible product type, but if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement."
If it comes expired or damaged you may request a refund, but it's a bit of a pain. You need to go through the chat bot who will tell you a few times you cannot return it, as for more help then talk to an agent via chat or a phone call. They're usually pretty quick to offer a "One time refund" but I'm always concerned about their use of the term "one time". Over the past year or two I've had a few things come expired, opened, or just plain nasty looked (most recently dark brown mayonnaise) and it's always been resolved.

Every Kicking Horse I've tried, including the "medium roast" options, have tasted burnt. Is there one you'd recommend?
Agreed, I tried two from kicking horse and it had to be some of the worst coffee I've tasted in quite some time. No flavor notes other than burnt. I really enjoy Mt. Comfort Coffee for coffee and especially for espresso.
