Best Buy has the laptop on sale for 780, the memory is a bit weak but it is expandable to up to 64gb, although I believe both memory slots are taken and would have to be swapped out, if you can find a good deal on memory this would be a great option.

Wow, so that probably makes it worse than the 4050 90w-100w GPU laptops that typically go on sale for $700-$800?

Yeah, not a bad deal, but not a great one either. Screen is weak at 45% NTSC. No exact specs on the brightness, but I'm going to guess that's it's pretty weak with a 45% NTSC rating. All the ports are one the right side, which is less than ideal. TDP is 45W with dynamic boost. 2 Slots of replaceable RAM, spec sheet suggests 1 8GB stick but YT video shows both occupied (what a waste with 4GB sticks). Still though, it is a 4060 with 8GB of VRAM. Not *that* bad for under $800 new. I'd pass though. Mostly because of the weak screen.

I mean maybe? This might be more energy efficient compared to a full powered 4050, not completely sure though.
