There aren't many TVs that have 240 hz refresh rate, mostly computer monitors.

Additionally, HDMI 2.1 can't do 4k@240fps, so it would be a waste anyway. 🤷 You would be limited to 1080p or 1440p at 240hz.

I rather go through Costco for the slight premium and deal with them is something goes wrong. Customer service is solid.

Some people are downing this concern but I'm dealing with the Allstate warrenty right now and it's no picnic.

After 3 hours on the phone, Allstate said, OK, let's send a tech out. The crappy tech company has canceled twice. This has been going on for three weeks.

I got tired of waiting so got a new TV from Best buy with their geek Squad warranty. At least their warranty company works for the store I bought the TV from.

Good for you, I have three Samsung TVS in the house so I managed. I only paid $1900 for the QN90C 85" with the 2 year geek warranty. And like I said, the TV is in excellent condition, not a flaw on the screen.

Very uncostco to partner with Allstate, Costco has one of, if not the most lenient return, exchange and warranty policies, whereas Allstate is one of the worst.

Allstars coverage is garbage, I had a $900 Hisense that quit working in 9 months. After the runaround and finally agreeing that no one around my area will do service to it they sent me a new TV about 3 months after I started my claim. They sent me the cheapest 65" hisense they could get that was nowhere near as nice as the one that crapped out
