Also, check out serverbuilds.net. Lots of good info there, though the group can be odd. https://forums.serverbu

Note, for hardware acceleration in plex, you need to pay attention to what all is supported based upon OS used in combination with the hardware. It's not quite so straight forward yet.
I'm on the east coast and have a Micro Center store eight miles away.

Motherboard is very meh, 4phase doubled + 2 and no heatsink on the top vrms. dont expect this to run your 1000 core cpu, probably fine up to the 12 cores with airflow
also dont buy this to use the 8000 series apu chips, on paper they suck

Terrible advice. An 8700G is $330 and it's GPU performance is worse than a $100 GPU. On top of that iGPUs need the fastest RAM (added expense) you can feed them, unlike dGPUs that have their own VRAM. If someone is looking for the highest FPS on tight budget they would be VASTLY better off with a $100 i3-12100F + $200 Arc A750 or $220 RX 6600, gaming performance would roughly be 3X higher than the 8700G for the same price. Obviously you sacrifice multi-thread performance, but most gamers dont care about that. AMD's APU pricing makes no sense for gamers, UNLESS they absolutely cant fit a GPU into their case (SFFPC), but that's a rare necessity.
