HA can help with hydrating the skin and making it look more plump but it depends on the formulation. I use a couple products that contain it, because many do, but there are other fine humectants, and no real way of knowing if that's what is making a formulation effective or not for each individual's skin.
Reviews help but eventually you need to see if you experience the effects yourself.

Have used cerave hydrating cleanser, and it's fine, just wondering what the competition is like. I think the consensus is Cetaphil sucks.

HA is a humectant and SA is an exfoliant. They can both be used in a routine for clear and smooth skin.

Jesus Christ, wasn't meant as a brag, just to say it's been much cheaper.
