The 9i with the i9, twice the ram, twice the SSD, better resolution is $100 more:
https://www.costco.com/lenovo-sli...48703.html

My concern is i9 may drain the battery faster also get hotter and that can be an issue on a slim device when using it portable, but maybe others can chime in here.

i9 Processor vs i7 Processor
32GB ram vs 16GB ram
1TB SSD vs 512GB SSD
3200 x 2000 vs 2560 x 1600

For just $100 more you get something far superior.

Good to know. The i7 with 4060 might be slightly better for something like PCVR or high end gaming.

I thought this was comparable to my Legion Pro 7i [bhphotovideo.com] 16IRX8H (82WQ002RUS) that I paid $1900 for during BF 2023....

Not even close...
