On one hand this is a decent model laptop with a 4080 for a reasonable price.

On the other hand it's nearly $2000 and Acer only slapped 16GB RAM in the thing. RAM is cheap and easy to upgrade yourself, but at this price I just feel like 32GB should be what this ships with. Just my two-cents.

If you need a 4080 laptop this is pretty attractive, but consider upgrading the RAM in the future.

What is the limit for how much ram? Could this have 2 32gig stacks for 64? How much would it cost to upgrade to 32 or 64?

Without looking at the specs it almost certainly can accept up to 64GB. 64GB SODIMM DDR5 runs you up around $220 typically without any sort of discount/sale.
