Based off the pics, I wouldn't recommend this. An important part of a sleep mask is to have space for your eyelashes (Tempurpedic used to sell one that was almost like a box). In the middle of the night, you want as much space so that if you open your eyes, or even crack them a little bit, you don't have your lashes brush against the mask. Resistance is a stimulating event that causes your brain to wake up.

I haven't seen a really good mask with that box-like construction in a while. Amazon has some with eyelash-space, but the cut outs don't always have enough space.

Really depends on the person. I sleep on my stomach with the front of my face against the pillow. It's horrible, I know, but the box on my face would make it impossible to sleep. Something like this is much more bearable

i agree... if you really think you need this,
get a reputable brand with 2 straps.
https://www.amazon.com//dp/B00S5Q826U/
most stuff on amazon is actually nylon
and most experienced SD'ers will confirm
that amazon is full of marketing fraud items.

I've got a Bucky and it's pretty good for this. And affordable.

Based on pic you would not recommend? I want somebody to tell me actual feel/fit of this one.

Just wondering why you would be opening your eyes with a mask over them instead of just taking a second to raise the mask. I kind of like the feeling of having this type of mask against my face as opposed to a void because then I want to keep opening my eyes. Kind of like the feeling of a weighted blanket. To each their own.

As a fellow 'mask expert' who works nights and sleeps during the day,I agree 100%! I found an amazing giant eyelash space one on Amazon that lasted years but wasn't available again to rebuy. It's tough to find and around $20-25 for a good one when you find it but worth every penny and will last you years

I'll take a shot on this for $10, why not? I purchased an mzoo sleep mask last year for $15 and it has been a game changer, I use it far more than I ever thought I would. Best case scenario, this is even better. If not, I guess I'll have a cheap backup.

No you can tell. He's correct. You don't want one that's flat against your face. Sure it's fine for commercials or the movies but for real life applications if you really want to sleep with a face mask and not just take a nap It's very uncomfortable. Search for 3D sleep masks on Amazon. They have molded eye cups so they don't put pressure on your eyelids.

I actually have this one. Bought it for more than this so it's a good deal. Now I haven't had the eyelash issue that is mentioned above, but that doesn't mean you won't, so I can't comment on that. What I can say is that it is very comfortable, but if you have a bigger head, give it a pass. I got mine in combination with the silk pillowcase which is what I really wanted. The strap is elastic and tight, so it'll give you a headache if your noggin is bigger. It fits okay over my nose and generally stays on at night, but I don't use it regularly enough to comment for every day use.

I have bought several Mzoos, they're the bomb. Going to try this for your same reason.

I've found that Manta Sleep has good quality masks (a bit pricier) with eye cups. Example: https://a.co/d/i9HGjf9
