Decent deal; I got the ratchet + integrated bits (but without the sockets, extension, and holder) last November for around $80.

Just wondering your thoughts w/ the ratchet? -- How do you like it? Some of the reviews gripe about the handle design and hollowed end breaking, i'm interested just not sure if its huge concern. Would suck to drop the ratchet once though and have it break.

With Wera and other German tool brands like Knipex it is worth comparing pricing on Amazon's German site (amazon.de) which will ship most items to the US. The prices are almost always lower, and often significantly so. The international shipping usually negates most of the savings on a single tool, but if you are buying multiple tools it can be worth it. I just bought a bunch of Wera and Knipex tools his way. For me the Amazon.com price would have been $500 total, but the Amazon.de price for the same tools was only $386.68 including the international shipping. Not getting 5% back on amazon.com from my Prime CC cuts into those savings too but still over $100 saved.

I love my wera tools. I broke an adapter and emailed them and they sent me out a new one. Just had to send them out a picture. I might pick this up.

Looks like a clever set, Wera is just always too expensive for my use.

I picked up one of these https://slickdeals.net/f/16297000-titan-1-4-drive-swivel-head-micro-bit-driver-15 and am ECSTATIC with how useful it is (I got it for a bike). I picked up a Tekton bit head set for like $10 and I'm suuuuper happy with it. The swivel is nice for getting in at weird angles, but it also solves the "I don't need this much leverage but I already am using my ratchet" because you can just turn the handle 90 degrees so it's inline and twirl it to turn the bit when you don't need any torque, just RPMs. I'm already getting a similar one that was on "overstock" sale for $10 (no longer, I just checked or I'd have linked it).

Cool tool. I wonder if they can patent the hex-3/8 socket head? I'm expecting we will see lots of knock-off on that design. I'll hope and wait for a battery version.

Loving it so far. The handle is indeed hollow to accommodate the bit holder, but it's holding up for me. If it took a hard hit, I imagine it would be the most likely part of the tool to break.

I don't care what happens to my fake internet points. I recognize there is a small niche market that requires a solution only this tool provides. This is mental illness level of pricing for the average person buying tools for the convenience factor.
