Thanks for sharing. That title of "Costco Members - Samsung Induction range $1500 off $1599" makes it seem like this product is $99. In actuality, the price is $1,599 after savings of $1,500.

I hope this provides clarification,

If you have an Electric Range Induction is the way to go:

Fast heating comparable to a gas stove
Glass stays relatively cool
Easy clean up since the glass does not get hot, we cheat and lay a thin towel over the glass top then put the pans on top of that.

Cool down is nearly instantaneous, you also do not get any heat unless there is a pan over the burner, so much safer if you have kids or someone forgetful.

Uses less energy than a conventional electric stove.

Downside you need pots and pans that have a iron base always bring a refrigerator magnet to check when looking at pans.

Cast iron almost works too well it will get SMOKING hot in no time at all. But regular price seems to be more like 2K.

$1999 everywhere for this model. including samsung.com itself. not $1500 in savings like any typical slickdeals staff posting.

When we bought our house it came with all less than a year old Samsung appliances. They're not very old and about half have already failed. Some only lasted a couple years. I would personally recommend against Samsung appliances. They have poor quality control and continue to sell appliances with known issues. When our fridge died I looked into repairmen and they said to not bother as it would just fail again the same way. They were selling that same model at that time and continued to sell the same model for years after. There were class action lawsuits.
Just my 2 cents.

Three Samsung appliances, three with serious issues.
Do not buy Samsung appliances.

I believe there are federal and perhaps some state tax credits.

For those that qualify:
For low-income households (under 80% of Area Median Income), the Electrification Rebates cover 100% of your electric/induction stove costs up to $840. For moderate-income households (between 80% and 150% of Area Median Income), the Electrification Rebates cover 50% of your electric/induction stove costs up to $840.

OP, thanks for posting. Folks, once you switch to induction, you will not regret it! VERY responsive, easiest cleanup. However, IMHO, we would NEVER choose a Samsung appliance. IKEA induction cooktops are often on sale for MUCH LESS and come with a 5-year warranty. We recommend them highly.

Almost 50% off? Better buy two because Samsung makes junk appliances.

I hate samsung appliances with a passion, although our samsung stove is the only one we haven't had issues with. Fridge, washer and dryer all are POS.

I bought a 85" Samsung QLED 6 months ago and it's been a headache too.

I think we should remember that Samsung is the most bought appliance brand. I'm sure there's quality control issues at times, but overall I don't understand the hate for their appliances.

Because of their popularity, I love to buy them open-box. Out of 8 samsung appliances between two houses, only the dishwasher had any issues and it was promptly replaced.

I've also had a Samsung TV and soundbar since 2017 with 0 issues. I plan on buying the S95D when it comes out.
