If you don't like the music, you could hang up the album cover and feel cultured with the art.

Is this a good pressing or does it sound like a CD?

If it does sound like CD, you can run it though an app to add all the noise to make it sound like vinyl.

hopefully you are joking. the noises come from the player and medium, not from the recording. You can't avoid them.

And no one is going to be able to tell analog from CD quality digital over vinyl medium anyway.

"the noises come from the player and medium"

So how do you play a vinyl record without the player and medium?

Yet another "free" album with potentially $15 shipping. Like the thesoundofvinyl "sales" tactics.
Huh? No, this is just a $15 record. No one said it was "free."

Hopefully you are joking. The medium (record) and player are essential in reproducing the audio. So with vinyl, there is no avoiding noise especially as the album picks up dust or the needle wears down. Compound that with the fact that vinyl masters typically mixed warmer to prevent skipping and are therefore less representative of the artist's vision than CDs.

On a perfectly maintained setup, a record may be free of noise (for a while) but it will likely sound a little warmer. It also takes effort to keep it sounding good (wiping down albums, storing them properly, changing needles, eliminating vibrations in the turntable, etc.). Conversely, a CD will sound just as good late in its life with next to no effort from the user.

I saw this band opening for Metallica pre Super Bowl week. I believe it was 2017. The concert title was "Too Heavy for Half Time". They didn't sound too bad.

Seeing as how a lot of ppl into records read posts about records, I was making a cheeky comment about a previous thesoundofvinyl "sale" where they were giving away FREE records if you paid shipping, which isn't the typical and legitimate $4~ish media mail cost, but $14.
