Worth it? Or simply too over-priced to begin with?

From a google search, it seems that all hex socket sets are overpriced! If this was the 12 piece metric and SAE set for like $20, then I'd likely buy it just for convenience as I recently picked up the Milwaukee electric ratchet.

Looks like this original price is just over inflated. And it comes out to $1.58 per piece.

There is a Dewalt 17-piece set for $25 original price with a plastic case ($1.47 per piece)

This only includes 4 SAE hex bits. If you're looking specifically for those, the $10 deal is better.

Yeah, that's got mostly torx bits.

i'm thinking about it, but not sure. i want to buy impact rated sockets, that way i don't have to buy the same s**t twice. chrome sockets shatter on impacts. i have some deep chrome sockets i used one time. then i had to get impact sockets and never touched the chrome stuff again

That's a good point. Good deal...until they shatter.

I'm gonna pass. When in doubt...pass. It's SD and another better deal will come along.
