I do believe this is the case. Legion full powered chips in past ie 130 watt 3060 best out like 3070 100 watt chips and so fourth.

Good deal imo

But everyone it's from antonline be fully aware on returns, make sure it's what you want, if was shipped sold by Walmart I'd buy and return local if any issue arises. But ant I've read issues with.

Personally I've bought several things from them w no issue, but I never returned anything.

I thought max tdp for 4060m was 115w, 140w via some sort of boost feature?

Possibly beats some of the low powered 4070m laptops?

Personally I'd snag this if I didn't get my open box asus tif a16 7940hs + 7700s 2550 240hz display unit for 549 lmao. A gods luck item. Dropped from like 1200 open box price to 549 overnight

I was getting antsy wanting a rig and then this fell into my lap.

This is a good deal tho. Drop display to 1080 on more tasking games, but it's so much nicer than 1080 crappier panels

the only reason i haven't bought this yet is because of some anecdotal reports from other buyers that the machine feels underpowered for the specs, i'm guessing the cpu. other than that it fills all that i want in a price range that i want

I'd say 7:10
I think a pro model would be 10/10 for around 900-1000

It's a deal. But prices will drop here and there
Like I mentioned, I think I would have prob really considered this, it's a good laptop and acceptable almost $800. The loq has been around 600 and this is worth 200 upgrade

The Lenovo software has gaming settings and safe oc ability. I used it on my 3050ti and it worked actually well but I think it's for gpu only it's been awhile.

Sorry I don't know about cpu being ryzen

This model has an older cpu masquerading as a current gen and a 60wh vs 80wh battery as compared to the next step up Lenovo legion 5.

But it's also cheaper than that model at $850.

Ultimately probably a question of use case. If you are just gaming with it docked then it's a great option since you get a good screen and good GPU for a low price.

CPU and BATTERY LIFE might not be the best tho. Not sure but doubtful compared to its competition. (Eg zephyrus)

Also this is Antonline and it seems they might be shady from reviews. Personally I'd rather deal with a big store like Amazon Costco Best Buy etc for a purchase this big.

I've mentioned this in similar deals of this config: A 4060 card is not ideal for 1440p gaming. It's advertised with a "165hz" monitor, and yet it wouldn't even get close to portraying the equivalent frames per second with this config..

If you're display-porting out to a 1080p monitor, then sure, you're in a much better position to get 100+frames. Go watch side-by-side comparisons on YouTube of what to expect with a 1440p/4060 setup. The results don't hold up in a way that a lot of potential buyers wud assume...

My two cents.
