Picture is rather deceiving in that it appears to be one desktop board, but in reading the description it's two.
bro why are we trusting a company called sweetcrispy?

Every time I see a sit stand on here, the comments discuss whether it's one board or two. I can't figure out why that is such a concern? Is it an aesthetics thing? Or some kind of functionality that I'm missing? Maybe two boards is more susceptible to breaking in half? Just curious.

I think the seam in the middle would be bothersome, esp while writing or if its pretty bad a keyboard could wobble, mouse could get stuck. My question is how bad is the seam? I usually have a deskpad so that should cover the seam, unless it's really bad.

If it's bothersome because the boards are slightly off-height from each other, add shims/washers to compensate. Should be able to get it very close, and with a mouse/deskpad it would not interrupt.

The seem is lengh-wise, so it shouldn't have any affect on the mouse and keyboard.

I would strongly recommend paying a little bit extra to get one with a one-piece desktop board instead, i.e.:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08868J4WZ

I own a very similar model and love it. There's also a $50 coupon which brings the final price down to $109.99.

Another consideration about the seam is that dust/grime could build up there. Plus dragging keyboard feet back and forth over the seam might scuff it up over time.

I ordered this one and no issues thus far. One piece board, quiet, easy to assemble. I have two monitors mounted and only wobbly when aggressively typing an email...

you do not want a stand up desk that has a two piece desk, trust me. This is just cheap shit.

I have a similar desk that's 2 pieces and I have zero issues with the seam. Monitor sits on a stand on the back piece with Mac mini under the stand, and keyboard/ mouse is on a giant pad on the front piece. No issues with dust in seam as I clean weekly/bi-weekly. I think it's a preference thing for most, but in my opinion it works exactly the same as a one piece top once it's all put together.
