SUNLU has 1kg 2 pack of PETG 3d printer filament for $20.69 for black and white on Amazon. Other color variation are slighly higher, but mostly $22.49 for 2 pack. You must use "subcribe and save" to get this price. This turn out to be about $10.35 for each 1kg spool.

Just a heads up but from I remember reading and hearing about white filament is that the substance they use to color it white, titanium divide, is very aggressively abrasive to normal nozzles because of it's larger particle size compared to other dyes.

Good deal - got mine for $19.xx after S&S discount per 2 rolls. I just got a 4 pack of Sunlu PETg but haven't tried it out yet. The good news is that these 6 rolls Better yet, it won't be delivered until Feb 20th which will give me time to cancel if the material turns out to be terrible. (I just returned 10 rolls of Sunlu PLA+ because the colors were weak/faded and a couple spools looked like they were rewound by hand)

I printed out several honeycombs for a Honeycomb Storage Wall out of the black Sunlu PETG. Worked great in my Creality K1 and I'll definitely pick some more up since you can't ever have too much plain black/white filament

Likely based on subscribe and save date. I had the option of tomorrow, or next month. I chose next month to meet threshold of 5 items to bump up to 15% savings.

I think you mean titanium dioxide, but yeah it's a thing. Very long time white die, major component of mineral sunscreen too.

I bought some white SUNLU PETG a while back (from Amazon) and I was shocked at how little pigment was in it. Honestly, it was closer in color to another brand of CLEAR filament I had than it was to any white. I chose to return it.

Indeed. It's time to switch back to a less abrasive white. I understand that lead provides a good white paint base...

On a more serious note, I'd just about given up trying to get a decent, non-stringing PETg print from my cheap Creality printer, even with coasting and retraction. Then I bought a Prusa (that uses Linear Advance) and it's just pure gold.

If you upgrade your Creality firmware to Klipper you can tune linear advance. Although I have also tuned a good PETG profile with minimal stringing for my E3Pv2 without needing to adjust advance. Mostly finding the right temp and retract settings for your particular filament but not everyone wants to create a profile for each material they use.

My printer, Sovol SV7+ has no problems using generic profiles for PLA, but the prints were horrible with generic PETG, but once tuned in, even with cheap PETG, I was able to print nearly as fast as PLA. IThe printer uses Kliper firmware. I was able to print with FIROS PETG brand from Amazon, which normal price is about $13-$15, but they go on sale for about $11 every other week for 1kg, at 300mm/s with good results. This FIROS brand gets poor review, but for me, once tuned in, it is a keeper. I expect the same with SUNLU. If you are willing or have time to tinker with the settings, I think most cheap brands would yield good results.

I have a Prusa MK3 at the office, we only use prusament filaments (we see a difference) and it is amazingly reliable for business use (it operates almost 24/7 with nearly zero maintenance). You made a good choice.

On the flip side though, their transparent is actually transparent. All of the transparents that I've got from other brands have been a washed out milk color. I just printed in transparent Sunlu last night last night and was pretty impressed. It's not like glass from a visibility perspective but doesn't look white at all.
