Glad I jumped on the Amazon deal for $250 a few days ago....would recommend buying straight from Dell anyway, I have to exchange the one I got because of a stuck pixel and buying from a 3rd party made it more of a headache.

I looked at a bunch similar monitors just recently. The deal breaker for me on this G2724D is that this monitor has a very bad local dimming which cannot be turned off, according to many reviews.
If the local dimming is good I won't mind, but you can find video footage showing how bad it is.
But everything else about this monitor is superb, best in class contrast, very good response time and latency, support of VRR, almost everything you would want on such a monitor.
I bought this monitor off of a similar deal last year. It's awesome! I primarily play CS2 on it and it hasn't disappointed. Great brightness, great colors, super fast, high quality build. It's comparable to monitors in the $350-$400 range.

Edit: NVM, those are options for choosing a different monitor.
Even if it wasn't qhd it would say fhd. VA does concern me
How are the blacks?

Nevermind, those are options for choosing a different monitor.
In the options below. Those are for choosing a different monitor, as it turns out.
