And while I'm hopefully the last book of the first quintet comes out later this year, I'm skeptical because it's been pushed back multiple times (no GRRM-level but getting there). Sanderson's output is pretty amazing but I get the sense that he works on lots of different things at once. Dates suffer.
Using the library, I've read this book as well as many others he's written. I've read many other authors including Robert Jordan, Ursula K. Le Guinn, Steve Hobbs, Joe Abercrombie, David Eddings, Anne McCaffrey, Terry Brooks, George RR Martin, Patrick Rothfuss, Terry Pratchett etc. etc.
In my que I have the following coming up next: L.E. Modesit Jr. The Magic Engineer(This is book 3, I'm currently on book 2 but went ahead and downloaded this one to listen next)
Book 1 and 2 of the Divine Apostasy Series by author A.F. Kay. This is a deviation from my normal fantasy type books, but the description and reviews hooked me and I downloaded them as well and added it to my audio player. I don't know when I'll get around to listening to them, but they are there for a rainy day.
I also have the Spellmonger series by Terry Mancour. This is another series that was recommended by a ton of people on Reddit. I checked the library cloud and saw they basically had everything by this author. I downloaded the first 5 books, again for a rainy day.
I have Joe Abercrombie's Red Country, which is book 3 in the First Law World series. I took a break after reading book 1 and 2, but I do that with a lot of series, as I like to not overdo an author and circle back to them some months later after reading other books.
My point is that you guys/gals that are still paying for books are just throwing money away! My library even has a request form, if you'd like a certain book they don't have, they will try to acquire it. However I go to the main library in my area and it has a massive selection of fantasy and sci fi books. They have a cloud service that has even more titles for your Kindle, E-reader, and other devices. They also have a big selection of audiobooks for download and physical copies in the library too. In addition to books, they have just about every popular magazine if you like reading the latest National Geographic, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Popular Science, etc. All the major newspapers every day, tons of movies and tv series, etc.
Check your local library out today!
That being said the app used is Libby My library system has a website, you fill out the form, they mail you a library card.. You use the number listed on the card in the Libby app and you are up and running. Easy peasy.

3rd book is the worst. Obviously opinions vary, but if you dont enjoy miserable, selfdoubting heroes, then this series isn't be for you.
