Not disagreeing with you really but one major caveat: Similar performance for 1/3 of the time. This likely won't matter in an impact driver or drill but if you need longer run time in power hungry tools, these seem to be a good price from an actual distributor and not eBay.

Don't risk buying these on ebay or Facebook marketplace. If they are less than retail it's very likely they are fakes. These batteries are the most counterfeited batteries, and are usually sold for around $90 for a pair. There are lots of Youtube videos comparing these and you do get what you pay for.

If you can score a set for $109 from authorized reseller like Ace I'd be all over it.

Yes, I agree with you. I noticed that many are cheaper on eBay, while some are on Amazon(Third-party sellers). However, after checking many details, I found out they are fake batteries. They look very similar to the real ones.

You need 6 small powerstacks to run a tool as long as these two batteries. Powerstacks are great on an impact, but try one on a reciprocating saw, it's disappointing.

Yes and they are all fake. Tool batteries have a massive counterfeit market. It can be hard to tell between real and fake.
