The 24-50mm lens is not the best in terms of focal range. But if you do want the R8 kit with this lens you could get a new one, probably grey market, though, from a seller on fleabay who has 2 of them available as of now, for $154 with free shipping. It'll save you almost $150 by buying the R8 refurbished for $1k and new lens for $154, compared to buying the R8 refurbished kit for $1300.

They tell you the retailer a little after it's been accepted but before it ships so you have time to contact them.

That's great to know. I think I'll get one new via your website recommendation (I bought several cameras and lenses from that site before) or refurb from Canon once it goes below $1,500.

I think I used it before to get canon 90D but you could get open box or demo as well from them. Plus in my case it took one of their partners like a few weeks if not a whole month to finally ship my camera

Hmm, I've spent over $10,000 on 6reentoe. I bought several lenses and a body via the site. The gear comes from smaller authorized Canon / Sony retailers in the US or Canada with North American Warranty. The only thing is, if you want a refund / send the thing back, it's difficult. Other than that, I've had no issues with them.

They typically give you 10-15% off of MSRP. (For battery grips even 50% off.) During the holiday seasons, when B&H / Adorama / Amazon are running those $500 off deals, 6reentoe won't beat those.

I decided to use that site for the first time, fingers crossed. I wanted to get a refurbished r6 body, which is still oos. Got a new one for the same price. It's now been 24 hours in processing stage. It seems like it's pretty typical with this site for orders to take multiple days before they're processed and your payment method gets charged?
