Keep getting targeted for this online. One bag from their site is $40 and they charge for shipping unless it's over $100. So 3 bags, a steamer basket, and bowls is a solid deal at $100 if you're interested in trying.

Aren't these going for $14.99 a bag at your local Costco? Seems hefty for a bundle which includes a steamer and a few bowls?

It may be based on location? My Costco doesn't have them. I also feel like that's a steep discount even for Costco standards when a bag direct is $39.99. $25 difference is crazy.

I love these, wish they were cheaper though. The Costco price is still way less than restaurant price I guess.

You can get 20 XLB for $5 non sales price at local Asian markets. Check freshgogo or weeeee online too. They deliver and probably have similar prices. 150 for $100 is a crazy mark-up. No matter how good the food maybe, even if shipping is included.

Don't get into the hype. They are not good. The meat is dry. The wrapping is thick. We almost bought the $100 package online at Costco. Glad that we stopped by a Bay Area Costco to buy a small package and tried them.

We regret buying two small packages of these buns.

These are good quality, I've tried other frozen brands and I do think that Mila/Xiao Chi Jie is the best. To everyone saying it's a crazy markup, keep in mind that Mila is sold by Costco at $13-15 for a bag of 30 soup dumplings. So for this deal, you are essentially getting ~$75 of dumplings, with delivery for a frozen good, a steamer, and bowls. I say this is a good deal.

And to everyone who is saying you can go to the Asian market and get this for cheaper, no. You can get other brands for cheaper, not this one. Weee! carries Mila, but it's $7.99 for 10 dumpings.

As a guy born in Shanghai, I can say Xiao Chi Jie was one of the best frozen XLBs, however, ever since rebranding to Mi La, quality seems to have changed, even though they claim nothing has changed. Still a good deal though, but wish they gave the sauces instead of the stupid bowls

I've bought a bag to try. The taste inside feels kinda weird. Idk how to describe it. It has a strong artificial/chemical taste. For 3x$15/bag ~$45. Steamers costs like $15 at most at any local store. $40 for a few plates?
No thanks.

Bought these last week without the basket.

Basically 95% as good as Din Tai Fung but at 1/3 of the price. Delicious.

Will be restocking with this deal
