The video is "BEST Budget Speakers under $400". These are $100 FFS. If you have a budget of $300+, then of course, go ahead and avoid these.

These may be a rebadge of Jamo S803. Awesome deal considering Costco return policy and warranty. While Jamo S803 have previously sold for less they were white and may not necessarily work aesthetically in some setups.

these are rebadged Jamo S803. Klipsch owns Jamo. Same components, same cabinets, same dimensions, same everything.

I have a 5.1 set up in my basement which has an open ceiling. would these be alright to mount between the ceiling joists for atmos 5.1.2?

Thank you for that insight. Something that seems different is that the Jamo S803's have connections for attaching their Atmos upward-firing speakers, whereas the Klipsch don't. Otherwise, they look very similar.

To me, if it doesn't have a Tractrix Horn, then it really isn't a true Klipsch. I picked up the $300 RP-502s in Piano Black to replace my R-14s for rear surrounds and will report back on the difference.

Thank you for pointing that out. I suspected as much, but wasn't sure. Klipsch and all major retailers which sell these avoid showing the full back view of the KD-51M. Scratchhead

I wonder if there is an extra filter / crossover in the Jamos to enable that feature. In this sense, the Klipsch version may offer a cleaner signal path for stereo / non-Atmos applications.

Nah.... BS22 on craigslist for $50 all day. Smoke these.

The tweeters on these and the jamo are absolute junk. Go look at teardowns, Magnets Bitch!! The BS22 tweeter is 10x better.
