The picture above is the Deluxe Tinker which has way more things (pliers) than the plain tinker. Who knows which one you will get as one picture on amazon is the deluxe and the other is the non deluxe. I'd be wary of this.

According to model number listed in description 1.4723-033-X1, these are indeed the Deluxe version and this is a good price. However, another seller has it for a couple dollars cheaper than this seller. Just look through the seller list on this items page.

Innovative housewares is the other seller mentioned and price is $40.18

Both of these are close to normal amazon prices until very recently.

I also am nervous about knockoff and restocks. I've bought some of these over the past few years from a multi-tool fetish I'm over now and stopped these well before because they were too sus.

I wouldn't be wary. I only saw a few complaints about receiving the wrong knife out of thousands of reviews, and they were all from years ago...nothing recent. Worst case scenario, they send you the wrong knife and you get to keep it and they refund you in full. Bigger problem I see in the reviews is a lot of people's knives arriving scratched and beat up

True, if you get the wrong one, just return! I will say that the Deluxe Tinker is absolutely my favorite knife, not too big for your pocket and has all the right tools on it, it's the best!

Nah...don't ever go out of your way to return something that THEY mess up on. Don't go out of your way for their mistake. Speak with customer service on the phone or online chat and tell them you want them to pick it up from your house and that you aren't going out of your way unless they pay you $xyz for your time

I ordered this last week. Just arrived today and I can confirm that I received the Deluxe Tinker 1.4723-033-X1. The model is printed on the box itself and I confirmed the combination pliers are present which is a difference between the deluxe vs the tinker or super tinker models.

The days of keeping anything from amazon are done, they always ask for the item back, regardless of the reason for the return. Some poor sucker buys pallets of amazon return items now. This is my experience at least, I mostly buy stuff that is sold by or, at the very least, fulfilled by amazon.
