YSK you won't be able to effectively use all 6 holes. It's basically impossible to grow the maximum number of pods in these tabletop hydroponic systems as they are too cramped. The plants will just compete for light and nutrients too much. Realistically, you can basically use 2/3 the holes if you want leafy plants, like greens, and 1/3 the holes only, if you want fruiting plants, like tomatoes or peppers, which are heavy nutrient feeders. So it's like "6 pod" AeroGarden = 2 fruiting plants; "9 pod" AeroGarden = 3 fruiting plants. And, among AeroGarden's "6 pod" systems, this 360 is the one where the pod holes are the most compact. So it's sort of like:

- 1 REALLY healthy fruiting plant, in the middle.
- 2 PRETTY healthy fruiting plants if you put them on the sides, far from each other. But then each of them will get less grow light on one side of the plant.
- 3 healthy leafy plants in a top-bottom-top or bottom-top-bottom triangle shape.

If you want to use all 6 pods it's only for like starting plants and than repotting them, or, growing some super dainty non-bushy type herbs.

The most effective thing this will grow is your AeroGarden expense bill, as you'll quickly find yourself wanting to buy more AeroGardens for more plant space.
They will replace the ones that don't grow no questions asked. They have a quick easy online form.

I found cilantro and lettuce to have no flavor. Probably due to the lack of minerals in hydroponics.

Thanks for the advice. I was looking at something like this for basil, mint, and one other herb (for cocktails and cooking). Sounds like it would work alright for that? Other than wanting more spots, of course
