Considering this beats a 4070, this price is very impressive. Now that FSR 3 is apart of the equation what does NVIDIA offer that AMD doesn't, stream encoders?

Not a bad price for the card but continue to lol at the misleading base prices by retailers. Has this card ever been 570 on Newegg? You're getting $10 off. 500 down to 490 unless you purchased it during their little recent price manipulation experiment after black Friday.

From what I've seen, Nvidia is still better for content creators and AI at the same price point. But unless your care about ray tracing, AMD beats Nvidia in gaming value.

DLSS 3.0 is still far better than FSR. Lots of shimmering from smaller details when using FSR and that's in the highest quality mode. I find that DLSS is usable even in balanced mode.

Yes but dlss is offered in select games, and Nvidia frame generation even less games. Meanwhile FSR is getting better and is available for more GPUs, and AMD's version of frame generation is usable with every game. I have an Nvidia 3080 card now but with the stuff AMD is doing i may be grabbing the next 8000 series Radeon card for my replacement.

Were they? I don't recall seeing one at that price. The 6800 xts were (at least the asrock one)

Do these cards update the drivers as easily and reliably as nvidia?

That's cool! That list of games is tiny though.

Anyone know if 7000 series AMD cards support AV1 encoding with handbrake yet?

Didn't mean to be snarky, but I had to do it: https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=am...dbrake+av1

Short answer: Yes, it does: https://videocardz.com/newz/handb...-7000-gpus

I love the AMD adrenaline app. Imo it's far superior interface to nvidia's. It's really easy to use and gives you all the adjustments you need.

dlss has to be integrated in the game itself..
fsr works on everything..I don't notice any shimmering

I actually prefer nvidias "classic" windows style panel..
amds isn't bad but it has too much features. I like the older windows look
