The new one WR85QC and this share the same panel. Only diff I see is that the new one has HDMI 2.1 ports if that's what you need.

Just FYi for this spec (38inch 21:9 1600P high refresh rate IPS HDR600 USB-C), there's Acer X38 that go for $799 on sale when they are in stock.

The LG has more general appeal and less offensive.

I have the WR85Q and the KVM works great. It switches computers automatically.

The Acer XR383CUR was on sale for $799 the past few weeks and that has a built in KVM. It will probably go back down again once Amazon gets their stock.

I have this monitor. It's awesome - but the Thunderbolt port is not soldered on great.

Mine came off the board - meaning I could no longer do a single cable to my laptop that also carried power and USB (from the USB-hub on the monitor). Had to buy an expensive dock to regain that convenience since nobody around me in San Francisco could (or wanted to?) fix this - LG quoted me at least $500 to fix.
