EXCLUSIVELY FOR PRIME MEMBERS needs to be added to the original post. At the top of the movie poster artwork on the landing page it says this. Not sure how they'll confirm it though Confused

Free popcorn and soda is per person or per pair of tickets? Either way looks like a good chance to see a different movie for free or even several once you are past the ticket checker laugh out loud

lf these studios have a ton of discretionary funds just to promote these fiIms couId def see a scenario where they hired temp "ushers" for a specific premiere to guide you to that screening room pIayin that fIick laugh out loud

Updated. I believe it is per ticket. At least each ticket says the holder gets a pocorn and drink

Of course not available in my city in NorCal which has a Cinemark Theater. Next closest is an hour and a half away 😭. And they're all sold out at all those locations.

Guessing they just hold a few spots for Prime Members. Like 20 tickets per theater or something like that.

We went to this week's free movie which was Mr. and Mrs. Smith. They played the first two episodes of the series back-to-back and that was the "movie". The show was pretty good, I've paid in the past to see much worse. The show started 15 minutes late but everything else was as promised (including free pop and popcorn). Get there early unless you want to sit right at the front of the cinema.

was it booked? seen anyone get turned away? how early did you arrive and how full was it then?

sounds nice, this one seems sold out for me but hope I can get another one

It's basically a preview (aka pre-release screening). Studios do this constantly to gauge crowd reaction and make edits afterwards.

Code AMAZONUPGRADED will get you free Junior Popcorn and Regular soft drinks on the 7th at Marcus Theaters using the MT app. It doesn't appear to be limited to theaters participating in the Upgraded showing, nor does it limit the number of free items.
