I can't grow a beard nor do I have any tatoos. I would never waste a nickel on Starbucks. I saw the blue and liked the color, I wear Columbia, North Face and L&L bean. Wanted see what the quality was like so I picked up one. I have no idea why anyone would even think it's prestige a brand. It's casual outdoor wear.

I bought this deal in 2016 from REI at $66. Still wear it almost daily. You're buying quality not prestige. Hopefully the quality is the same. I have a similar TNF sweater and it's not as nice, it's fit weird. I do have beard but I don't like Starbucks.

I own North Face, Columbia, and Patagonia jackets. Patagonia is not in the same league as the other two - their quality is top notch and stands by their warranty - they will repair your gear 10+ years down the line. They're expensive for a reason, and prestige is icing on the cake. Can you say that about TNF or Columbia?
