PS+ Extra can override your licenses for games you previously claimed through essential if a game previously claimed gets added to the extra or premium catalogue when it rotates out, you'll no longer have access to that game.

So check it out. I accidentally found a way to get premium for a year for $96.39.

My sub expired last week, this 41% offer popped up on the ps5 so I jumped on it. Credit card charged $79.64. Now I just checked my ps app and it's offering me to upgrade my plan to premium for $25 minus 33% which makes it $16.75 for the remaining 366 days of my plus. Might as well…

Out the door my bill comes out to
$79.64 + $16.75 = $96.39 for 12 months of premium

Additionally I just checked out and now it's offering another year of premium with 33% off for $107.19 so stacked with what I just did that would be $203.58 for 2 years of premium …gonna have to think about that

I let my PS Plus expire a few weeks ago and am seeing these prices to renew. Not sure if it's worth it anymore.

How long does your subscription have to expire to see these "new member" deals?

I don't see any discount on the Sony website...

The link still shows them full price and I'm not logged into my account.

I can see the deal on my PlayStation. I have the regular PlayStation plus and it's giving me the offer to upgrade to the other two plans for my remaining days.

Subscription lapsed a few months back. MIIIIIIIGHT Jump in the middle tier for this but ehhh. Maybe if I find a deal on PSN bucks to double discount

Don't know if I'm coming back until I have a need to play online. Not gaming as much and haven't for about 3 years. Slowly moving on and just occasionally play online. So, paying $80 for something I only use a few times isn't worth it.
