PS+ Extra can override your licenses for games you previously claimed through essential if a game previously claimed gets added to the extra or premium catalogue when it rotates out, you'll no longer have access to that game.

So check it out. I accidentally found a way to get premium for a year for $96.39.

My sub expired last week, this 41% offer popped up on the ps5 so I jumped on it. Credit card charged $79.64. Now I just checked my ps app and it's offering me to upgrade my plan to premium for $25 minus 33% which makes it $16.75 for the remaining 366 days of my plus. Might as well…

Out the door my bill comes out to
$79.64 + $16.75 = $96.39 for 12 months of premium

Additionally I just checked out and now it's offering another year of premium with 33% off for $107.19 so stacked with what I just did that would be $203.58 for 2 years of premium …gonna have to think about that

I completely agree with your assessment. I played several games last year that I almost bought and made me feel I got my money back. It might not have first party same release day as GamePass but for the rest of the games is very similar in quality. I have both so all the fanboys please refrain your comments. Wink

I let mine expire in December because I was not going to pay the new price but this is just at the cusp being worth it for me. I ended up resubbing for a year.

You will never find a new game on the subscription, usually older bargain bin games. Also DLCs will be extra, ofcourse.
